How To Enable Javascript In Firefox

If you have upgraded to Firefox 23 and you find that JavaScript no longer works on Webpages and there is no obvious option to enable/disable Javascript and Mozilla has disabled the 'old' option of enabling JavaScript from the options Menu.

There is however a solution but its a slightly more round-about way of enabling it as you can see below.

Here is the way to enable it.
about:config
  1. In the address bar, type "about:config" (with no quotes), and press Enter.
  2. Click "I'll be careful, I promise"
  3. In the search bar, search for "javascript.enabled" (with no quotes).
  4. Right click the result named "javascript.enabled" and click "Toggle". JavaScript is now disabled.
To Re-enable JavaScript, repeat these steps.
