Launching Internet Explorer 8 InPrivate Browsing Mode By Default



Internet Explorer 8 has introduced the InPrivate Browsing, allowing users to surf the Internet without leaving any browsing traces, all the cache files, Browsing History and Cookie information is automatically deleted after the end of each Private browsing session.

Here is how to create an IE8 private browsing mode Shortcut allowing you to launch the browser InPrivate mode by default, simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Right-click on Desktop, Select New Shortcut
  2. Type - "%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -private and click Next.
  3. Type the name of your choice for the shortcut, eg. "Internet Explorer Private" and click Finish.
  4. Selecting this shortcut will launch the browser InPrivate mode, allowing you to surf the Web Privately.
