How To Speed Up Mozilla Firefox and More

This Tutorial only works well for Broadband Connections

  1. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return.
  2. Look for the following entries

    network.http.pipelining
    Change False to True
    network.http.proxy.pipelining
    Change False to True
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
    Change 4 to any value higher than 4, but not more than 8
    network.http.max-connections
    Change 30 to 96
    network.http.max-connections-per-server
    Change 15 to 32
  3. Right-click anywhere and select:
  4. New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount in Milliseconds that the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
